The year 2005 was a year to remember not only was it Gkk´s birthday but that year I got four new shodan´s, two nidan´s, two sandan´s and two yondan´s and also one of my students took 2nd place in The World Cup, Japan.

It was a historical year not only for the dojo but also for me. To see the dojo grow gives me a sense of satisfaction. It takes dedication to achieve these results.

Göteborgs Karate Kai has been around for a long time and is one of the oldest and biggest kyokushin clubs in Sweden. The dojos 40th birthday was celebrated on the 28th of May 2005 in Stora Teatern, Göteborg.

New and old members came to celebrate this event. We also had a trip to memory lane where the guests could see old photographs and watch old movies from the past... The evening finished on a high note with a last tost and for another 40 years. Back up
