Teaching in Banzai

I often go to Banzai Karate Kai, another Kyokushin dojo in Gothenburg and help them with technique etc. This time I focused on kata, which is always a problem for us all. If you do not practice constantly you loose your feeling for the kata. There is no short cut, it takes a long time to really understand the tempo and timing in kata. We are not robots so we do perform kata a little differently after all we are individuals and that means we have our own personality and way of doing things, even if we perform the same kata it can look a little different.
